Conside create a Facebook Page for your party or wedding

This is just a thought
With Facebook being the biggest form of Social Media around today my not make the most of it by starting a Facebook page for your party. Sure you can just add an event to your own page but not everyone invited to your party may be on your friends list so creating a separate page might be a better option. Here are a few things you can use this page for
1) Managing RSVP's. Obviously this will not be how you invite guest to your wedding but would work well for other types of parties
2) Allow people to post photos to this page so you can approve them before they get sent you you own Facebook page. Alot of time the candid shots your guest take are the ones you remember the most.
3) Guests can add there music requests prior to the party so I make sure I have their special song.
4) Guests can share their memories of the event with others. Who know you might learn of something that happened during your party you had no idea of.
5) This page can help those who were unable to attend the party feel like they were there
